Curious where you got that idea from. I have a wonderful tattoo artist, however in certain spots my tattoos still really hurt. Some people have a really low tolerance for pain, they should be well aware before they get a tattoo that some are going to hurt.

Did she think she wasn't going to feel anything? Depending on the area you get it on, tattoos can be incredibly painful. Either she didn't do any research or she's plain ignorant. Sorry OP. You'd think a tattoo artist job would be the one place where people knew they were going to feel pain.
