Today, after 25 years of marriage and 2 children, I was served with divorce papers. It turns out my 51 year old, soon to be ex, has been having an affair with the 24 year old tutor I hired to help our daughter bring her grades up. They are in love and want to start a new family together as soon as possible. FML

Today, my husband sat me down to tell me he’s filing for divorce as he’s fallen out of love with me and loves my 19 year-old daughter (his step-daughter). Furthermore, I’m off the lease when it expires next month so they can live together. We have a 2 month-old son. He replied, “OK, and? I’ll pay child support.” FML

Today, my wife and I were going through a very amicable 50/50 divorce, until she found out I’m already dating. She’s only two years younger than my wife, but it upset her enough she’s now stalling the divorce until she gets 75/25 in her favour, including the holiday cottage. FML

Today, it's my daughter’s 18th birthday. Today is also the day that my husband told me he’s leaving me for her, and he wants a divorce. When I threatened to press charges for potentially grooming her as a minor, he told me I don’t have a leg to stand on because, “She’s been at the age of consent anyway.” FML

Today, it's been a few years since after I married my soulmate, and two years since he found he had a daughter with his ex. The last two years have been spent in custody court. Our savings are drained by support payments, and our own pregnancy plans are on indefinite hold. I can’t take much more. I want a divorce. FML

The jokes on him if he thinks he can raise a child at the age of 51. He's obviously following his little head. And his girl friend is going to find out it won't be much fun when he loses half of all his money with the divorce.

That relationship will never, nor does it deserve to, last. She is too young and immature for him and she will realize what she is missing out on in life. As for him, he's going to realize that he is basically a glorified baby-sitter/sugar daddy. I bet the relationship is already over as we speak.

First, I saw son instead of soon. I got confused, because it wouldn't work out so that your son would be 51 and your daughter still in grade school. Then, I re read it several times and I think, FYL.
