Today, after 3 years, I saw my ex, who I still love, at a coffee shop. Being nice, I said hi. He turned around, looked at me, and said, "Thank God I broke up with you. You look like a hot mess!" before getting up and walking out with his model girlfriend. FML

Everyone's gonna take the girl's side and trash the ex. But the combination of the OP still loving her ex after 3 years, the bitterness of the guy's response, and the fact that OP called his gf a "model" really makes me wonder what happened with their relationship. I don't want to sound like an asshole but it really sounds like the ex moved on and the OP didn't.
