Today, after a haircut, I walked to the cash register, handed the hairdresser a $20 bill and said, "Keep the change." He looked at me with a blank expression and replied, "The haircut costs 25 dollars." FML

I hate how people rarely bother to check how much their getting costs

I hate it when businesses don't clearly state their prices until it's too late not to pay.

Ehh I gotta go ydi, you should wait for them to ring you up before you tip. I'm going into cosmetology and it's not a high paying job unless you make it big. Similar to a waitress, tips are really needed 15-20% is standard. Even at low quality places like cost cutters.

LoL man. Buy yourself a hair trimmer. It will save you 25 bucks hundreds of times. And why a simple haircut costs so much?

I cut my own hair too. Just set the razor to 3 and have at it.

YDI for not finding out how much it is beforehand. Why would you do that?

Wow that must suck not carrying enough cash!!! :/

pretty much the same thing happened to me before -_- i was so embarassed

The same thing happened to me except it was pizza...I still tipped him.
