Guys' haircuts are usually a lot different than girls'. It's one thing if you want to get your hair 'styled' (I used to have a guy I worked with do that for me, and paid around thirty bucks - and that was eight years ago, plus the 'you're my friend, and I'm doing this in my kitchen' discount). But these days, I get a haircut every two or three months, and pretty much all I want is: make it shorter. I was shocked when I moved to Portland and Greatclips was $16. That said - One, it sounds like you went to a slightly fancier place, because I don't believe there's a Greatclips or Supercuts in the country that charges $25 for a basic haircut. And two, regardless of anything else, it's kinda dumb to sit down before you know how much it costs.
Wow. I complain when I have to pay over ten dollars.
I've had the same beautician since I was 5, and she still charges me $90 for a trim and highlights. I will say this, though: she knows my hair better than I do.
I'm a girl, I just got my hair cut on Saturday, it was $20 after a $5 tip. Great Clips ftw.
Where the hell do you get your hair cut? I thought men's hair it's were like $5.
$25 for a haircut?! They need to cut prices before cutting hair. Either that or Vidal Sassoon better be in their cutting hair.
