Well, having worked at a gas station before, I'll let you know that the price on the pump, once you start pumping, is the price you get. They can change the price while you're pumping, but it won't affect you because your purchase has already started. As a person note, I would always raise the price on the sign before raising it on the pump. I would also lower the pumps before lowering the price on the sign so no one could complain.
That does suck but you don't have it that bad. Where I live gas is $1.29 per Liter. There are 3.785 liters in a US gallon. You do the math. And we think that is a good price it's been worse. FML
It's $2.26 a litre in New Zealand.
Isn't that a good thing?
Sure, for everyone else. For OP, not so much.
Which state has that gas price???
Little Rock, Arkansas area.
Well... Not much to say other than ask the cashier for the lower price. Maybe you will get it or what you pumped at the other price?
Did you mean 3.59 to 3.69?
No, the price dropped while they were pumping silly X.X
This would not be an FML if that had happened, 26
"After completely filling"...indicates they'd already filled the entire thing at the higher price. So... It is an FML. don't worry though, I totally read it wrong at first too.
Where I live in Ireland, gas equates to $8.34 a gallon, try running a car on that...it sucks.
Yup, $8.48 per US gallon in deepest darkest Devon, the US doesn't have it so bad after all...

I got lucky. One day I filled my tank and watched the price per gallon go up. Sorry op
Erm, you need more than 5 gallons to fill a tank. And every little bit counts.
