You need a new bf! If he's that insecure an jealous it won't be long till he escalates to something worse!
Not to wish the little lady any harm here but is there perhaps the possibility they are uninsured and she may be a hypochondriac?(for instance saying "for ages", and then "a week") I had to rush my ex to the hospital 4 times when he didn't have insurance and it turned out to be gas pains, headaches and heart burn. Said diagnosises turned out to be around 14,000 that he is still paying off and the last two times he wanted to go to the ER- i also refused to take him unless it made sense to. Obviously we should have a better safe then sorry approach, but could we consider that he may have a valid reason for not wanting to rush her to the hospital?
53 - was thinking the exact same thing! That's why all those anti-NHS campaigns really agitated me - it's such a fantastic (although not flawless!) system.
Then the FML would have said "My boyfriend won't take me to the hospital because we're uninsured and doesn't think it's serious enough". There was no need for him to comment about sleeping around if that were the case. Also, a week IS ages to be constipated, it can be serious if it lasts for more than a few days.
Helen I can sorta see your point- but we only have one comment to go by. A few times I used humor to calm my bf down - it may not be entirely appropriate but each relationship has their own. My point is that I can't imagine him steadfastly crossing his arms over his chest while his gf is on the toilet saying "this is because you took it in the butt" with any sense of seriousness and that while everyone is ganging up on the bf as OMG WHAT A MONSTER, I'm offering that there may be aspects to his decision. To my European friends- Im really glad about that and consider myself extremely fortunate to be insured!
94- yeah, you'd think. Or maybe SHE could have went out and picked those up herself? :/ .......... Either way, you think SOMEONE would have thought of it. 49, I agree with you, and unfortunately we just don't know the situation. A number of things could be going on there, yet we're only hearing one tiny part of one side to the story.
#94 & #105: St'l softeners & laxatives work on the intestines, but the cause of this medical condition is failure of the stomach to periodically empty its contents; thus, these meds won't work in this instance. See WebMD.
then when he ever becomes constipated.... you can say the same thing back to him
Aha
Actually anal sex should have the opposite effect.....just saying
#70 & #90: I think that experienced personnel use enemas (or equiv.) first....
You can treat him like the contents of your bowls and dump him down the toilet

You boyfriend is an idiot for assuming like that..
That's pretty bad for him to assume something like that.
