Wow, OP. That really sucks! To me, those pictures don't matter as much as the meeting itself, but everybody sees this in their own way. My sister and I met Eero from The Rasmus once and I took a picture of them together. We lost the pictures in the course of the gig (I think my sister deleted them by accident). My sister was very upset for a few hours but I managed to console her by telling that she actually SPOKE to the guy. And at the end of the evening she was alright. This is, of course, very different from someone who purposely messes up your picture(s). All I'm trying to say here is, you MET them. And nobody can take that away from you, pictures or no pictures :)
