Today, my mom still spends time with my ex because, as she puts it, we might be divorced now but there’s no reason they can’t still be friends. This is the woman who tricked me into raising another man’s baby for three months before I got suspicious and got a paternity test. Screw you mom. FML

Today, my mother shared my phone number with my brother, despite my explicit wishes that she didn't. He immediately went and put it on Craigslist and several other websites. This is the fourth time I've had to change my number for that very same reason. FML

There used to be a "Judgmental" badge on FML that you earn by saying to 5 pages worth of FMLs deserved what they got. This FML, with so many dislikes on its head, was one of the many reasons why it was removed. And I'm glad it was. FYL OP, and I hope you'll find a way to get out of this situation.

I know how hard it is to leave an abusive relationship. Consider changing your number again, and recording all of the times your ex has contacted you. You should really consider a restraining/protection order, OP. After awhile it gets better, just give it time.

It breaks my heart to know that your OWN MOTHER wants you to come back into an abusive relationship. Get away from them both, immediately. No buts, ands, or ifs. And if you have to, call the police on them.
