Today, after saving up for weeks, I bought myself an iPad. Because mine is better than the one my parents bought my ten-year-old brother, he got pissed and threw it into our pool. I'm now grounded for getting angry and calling him a bastard in the aftermath. FML

Today, my dad borrowed my new iPad to amuse him while he was in the shower without my knowledge. The iPad is now completely ruined, and my dad is refusing to buy me a new one. He says, "How was I to know that it wasn't waterproof?" FML

Today, while mopping the kitchen, I ended up slipping and and knocked over the table that had my mom’s iPad on it. The screen shattered; I sprained my wrist. I asked my mom to take me to the ER. She called me "selfish" because her iPad screen repair would "cost more." FML

Actually, you might still be able to save it. Don't attempt to turn it on, and put it in a ziplock bag full of rice for about a week. This will absorb the moisture, and perhaps save the iPad.

This might sound crazy op but you shouldve jumped in and saved the iPad. I got shoved in the pool with my phone in the pocket. I jumped out of the pool and let my phone dry for 48 hours and it worked afterwards. You never know that would be a waste iPads are so expensive. I would make your brother pay op either in money or well physical punishment.

Who would buy an iPad for a 10 year old? Because we all know 10 year olds are the freaking best at keeping track of things and they are never angry and lose temper.
