Well rather than going and blowing up on her like 90% of the other posters here id rather know is she a bitch usually? This could just be a super socially awkward attempt at comforting you and saying "we still love you!" "stay strong!" ect ect TLDR version: Context is important.

This has to be the worst FML i've ever read. What kind of heartless human being goes and bakes a cake to celebrate someone's miscarrying a child, especially when that child is to be their grandbaby. I'm sorry for your loss OP :( and i'm sorry you married into a family with a woman like that.
