You twisted your knee, you didn't break your leg. Who stops any game for a player with an "injury" that just needs to be iced? If it was a serious injury you wouldn't have been able to "take" yourself to the hospital.

OP I play rugby and that's how we do it. If you need to go to the hospital during a match, you drive yourself or you call EMS and they come get you. You don't need to go to the hospital for a sprained knee. Ice, elevate, and go see your regular doctor. Grow some balls.
