I know how that feels OP, I've been there. Just keep trying, It'll get better!
*how
That happens to me too, so I don't study. I get better grades not studying than when I actually do, it's sad I know. Sorry OP it sucks but you'll pull through it :)
One of my teachers once told me to never study on the day of a test if you've already studied before (people like to reassure themselves/review what they already know), because you start to second guess yourself during the test. And I can honestly say that this is true from first hand experience :P
I'm an A and B student. I have never studied except for final exams.
78 - you're also a freshman, wait until junior year you will be screwed if you don't study
Similar issue here. No matter how much I studied, my grades would hardly change. I finally figured out the problem: I am ****ing awful at taking exams.
Shit happens. Don't stress youself out too much about it, stressing wont help your grades.
Try looking up good study habits, or ask someone. It just might be the way you're studying.
Aww, that sucks. I study for almost a week for my trigonometry tests and still haven't made above an 80% on any of my tests -__- I usually stress myself out by studying so much and it kind of backfires. I even tried a tutor and still failed a test!
18 and op. It may not work or everyone, but before every test I took in school I would completely stop studying 30 minutes to an hour before the test. When I did that, opposed to studying until it started I did significantly better. Good to give your mind a rest and take in what you have studied, and it helps you relax. Cramming can cause you to have a "brain dump" on the exam and forget everything. If you don't know it 30 minutes before the test you're not going to know it.
Thanks for the advice! My friend told me something similar to that. She said relax and have fun the day before the test to relieve some stress. But it's like the more I study, the more pressure I put on myself to do really good on the test...which stresses me out. So I'll try your advice.
Maybe it's just because the teachers were late on putting in grades from before you started studying hard? Either way that sucks, FYL
ikk how you feel bro
