Today, after weeks of practice, I proudly did 9 chin-ups on my chin-up bar. As soon as I was done, my 11-year-old daughter came over and banged out 12 of them. Then she wiped her sweaty hands off and did 8 more. Then she gave me pointers on my technique. FML

They also weigh like 80lbs which helps :) it's much harder to lift yourself when you're fully grown, so 9 is a lot! Good job!

You can do so much more when you weigh less. Don't feel bad OP.

Its also the fact tht she is 11 bro. Kids have so much more energy and are stronger. As u get older if you dont keep ur body in shape u lose that muscle. Thats all! Dontbe discourged, really

I'm 15 and weigh 87lbs. I cant even do one. I feel like an old person....

Op's daughter at least tried to point out tips not make fun of them

There's two options. First, you don't know how to do pullups. Or second, you just weigh more than your daughter so it's harder to pull up.
