Today, my car was in the shop so I borrowed my wife's VW Beetle convertible. It's really embarrassing because it's a girlie car and it's full of little stuffed animals. At a stop light a man asked me if I'd like to borrow one of his testicles because "every man should have at least one." FML

Today, my parents said that they bought me a car. I had been begging for one for a year and they always said that I would have to pay for it myself. I got really excited and went to the garage to see my new ride. It was a Hot Wheels car with a note saying, "Save your money". FML

Today, I finally bought a car, after saving up for a year. My dealer had told me it was a good buy, so I snapped it up then and there. On the way home, the rear axle practically fell out of the car due to frame rot. My dealer wants to buy the car back at half the price. FML

Uhh... you know that car inevitably sat for years and years if the mileage is that low, right? That means more than likely all the fluids are old. If they've just been changed, they've still been sitting in there and possibly being test driven like that. VW engines generally aren't reliable - at least the Beetle isn't, dunno for certain about the Cabrio. I really hope you did a solid inspection inside and out of the car. The 16k mileage makes the whole rest of the thing sound shady. Hope it's not, but... chances are, it is. But in keeping with the point of the FML, it is most definitely a chick car. Whether you're still going to care after your friends get over it is another thing, but it is sure as hell not a man's car. Coming from a girl, don't mod it to compensate. Actually, don't mod it at all. I'd think better of a guy driving a regular chick car than of the guy who's driving a heavily modded chick car.

Awww, I miss my 2000 VW Cabrio. That was my first car. Which this 17 year old twerp totaled by rear-ending me over the summer. =/ I'm sure this doesn't help prove it's a very masculine car though... Is it at least black and black interior? Or dark blue? I just hope it's not the cream interior... lmao.
