Plot twist, it's El Chapo, I say go for it the dude is worth like a billion dollars. But real talk, he sounds like a straight forward person who paid his debt to society so I wouldn't write him off before getting to know him or what he was charged with.

Some of the best people I've ever met are convicted felons, they learned from their mistakes and it changed the for the better, just because somebody has been to prison doesn't mean they are a bad person, more people need to realize that

Look on the bright side if he was a murderer or rapist or something he would probably wanna hide that. The fact that he's being honest means he probably did something minor accepted it and now is trying to move on with life
