What was he arrested for? Hopefully nothing major, but I'd be wary either way. However, you mentioned that this is the first attractive man to hit on you for quite some time - so have other guys hit on you but you didn't find them attractive? Sometimes it's about more than looks. Beggars can't be choosers.
