Today, as I was making instant hot chocolate from the hot water dispenser in the break-room at work, a coworker informed me that it was industrial "recycled" wastewater that was only supposed to be used for washing tools. Thanks. I've only been doing that every day for the past 8 months. FML

If you haven't gotten sick yet, I must bow down to you for surviving for so long.

How do you not notice something like that after that many months?

Why would you use that water to wash tools in the break room? Your coworker was BSing you and you fell for it. Use common sense, OP.

...If it's not from the coffee machine why would you use it?

I doubt radiation would be in any water supply used in the cleanimg of tools. Let alone in the breakroom.

Thats a line of crap, unless you live in Bangladesh or India or some such third world craphole, that ain't gonna happen.

I find it hilarious when people call other people idiots in the context of a poorly written comment that defends a stupid original comment. Har dee ******* har har.

Why would they have that water in the break room?

I think your coworker is full of shit. who washes tools in the breakroom? washing tools sounds like a work related function and therefore is BANNED from the break area by the unwritten code of the workplace. plus, for health and safety reasons - all non drinking water must be labeled "non potable". gullible is not a word in the dictionary - try to look it up and see!!
