Today, as I was washing the dishes, I felt what I thought was a mosquito on my leg. I kicked at it with my foot only to realize that I had just kicked my adopted puppy in the face. Now, whenever I come into a room, he runs to the corner and pees. FML

you who said "how can it feel like a mosquito" are idiots, or don't own pets. If the pet gently grazed against you, or his whiskers or a bit of hair grazed your leg, that definatly can feel like a bug. this person is oviously not used to have a pet around and was startled to feel that on their leg.

(@Merc) I usually am not amused when commenters reverse fmls to be from someone elses perspective, but puppy perspective is definitely a good time...

He's peeing to show he's submissive. I adopted an abused dog who did that for a few months. Don't look him straight in the eye until he gets over it, and try approaching him from as low as you can get to the ground.

poor thing!!! show him that you dont mean him any harm and hell gradually get over it and love you again.

Get a collar with a tag or bell on it.

oh and dont rub the puppys nose in the accident - thats unhealthy for the puppy and its not really that the puppys doing it on purpose.my dog used to be really bad about getting underneath feet - i tripped on her and she was so scared for awhile of me - so i fed her some lunch meat and milk and took her on a walk. dogs are pretty forgiving. or just really like food...either way.

My dog had his nose rubbed in poop, and emotionally scarred him for life. I'm seriously not even kidding.

Agree with #13, Dog whiskers definitely feel like mosquito's, definitely kicked my dog a couple times!
