Instead of just taking the embaressment , you should of said something cute or funny, show your confidence. It always saves you :)

Being single has it's perks. You dont have a husband, bf and/or kids to worry about. If you want to go out with friends, you just go. No worries about having to change diapers, cooking dinner for picky eaters, someone messing up your house 30 mins after you just cleaned it...etc

I hate that tradition. I was at a wedding once and an obese woman caught the bouquet. The guys let the garter drop three times before one of them slipped $20 to an 8-year-old boy to catch it. You could see the hurt on her face. I felt so bad for her. It's a silly tradition that only causes hurt feelings and embarrassment. I didn't do it at my wedding. I just presented my maid of honor with my bouquet.

At least you had your pick of the single guys there I hope?
