Today, at my four-year-old daughter's insistence, I looked for - and found - a radio station that plays "Santa music" all year round. She's ecstatic and I can't turn it off without upsetting her. FML

Don't let your kids become your boss, show your kid who's in charge. Or learn to love Santa music

That's when you throw the radio away and tell her you don't know what happened to it.

If you didn't want to listen to it all year then why did you bother looking for the station? I'm sure it was kind of hard to find after the holiday season.

Um, who is the parent? It's supposed to be you right? Turn it off, be honest with her and say, "Honey, the time for Christmas music has come and gone. We can listen to it again next Christmas." or just let her listen to it for a little bit and turn it off before you start losing your mind. She will fight, scream, and throw an absolute fit... and you know what? She'll make herself tired, or get distracted, or get hungry enough that she'll stop. She needs to learn that she can't get whatever she wants by throwing a fit. Yes she's young, this is probably just a phase, but, really? You need to start setting boundaries somewhere. If you let her learn that she can get whatever she wants by throwing a fit, she will NEVER stop throwing fits. She'll become a selfish brat. Dont let her control you.

Ok, when I first saw this I misread "Santa" and thought it was "Satan", pretty much the same when it comes to listening to it 12 months of the year.

Yea I completely agree with everyone why'd I have to bother, but now just get her some earphones so that way you both can be happy :)
