Today, at my four-year-old daughter's insistence, I looked for - and found - a radio station that plays "Santa music" all year round. She's ecstatic and I can't turn it off without upsetting her. FML

Don't let your kids become your boss, show your kid who's in charge. Or learn to love Santa music

That's when you throw the radio away and tell her you don't know what happened to it.

And that is why, folks, ALL children should be introduced to Van Halen at the earliest age possible.

Make her feel disappointment it's going to happen someday

You let your 4-year-old tell you what to do? You have much bigger problems here.

Grow a backbone and tell the kid no.

Perhaps you should let "Santa" disappoint her instead, with perhaps an IOU or bearer bond, to teach her patience

It's your ride, and she'll find something else to be upset about anyway. You chose to have kids and you can't put up with their whiny antics? ydi then.

Be a parent and say no. Problem solved.

Maybe take turns. Teach her to be patient and wait her turn by setting up a system, like "this car ride, we'll play your music, but next car rid we play mine. Make sure you stick to it so that way she learns that she will get her turn, but you still can keep your sanity. Still, Fyl op
