Today, at my four-year-old daughter's insistence, I looked for - and found - a radio station that plays "Santa music" all year round. She's ecstatic and I can't turn it off without upsetting her. FML

Don't let your kids become your boss, show your kid who's in charge. Or learn to love Santa music

That's when you throw the radio away and tell her you don't know what happened to it.

Just admit santa's dead. Problem solved.

How is it ok to tell the child that Santa is dead???

Sorry, I just get worked up over things that :(

I know a lot will frown on this but if it bothers you so much, invest in a cheap little CD player and buy her a kids Christmas CD. It can't get worse.

Come on now; get in the holiday spirit! ;)

You could have just pretended to look and then said "Oh no, I can't find one. You'll have to wait until next Christmas".

This FML made me think of the movie Groundhog Day. Christmas will never end until you put away everything that is Christmas.

It's a phase...probably won't last very long... My daughter goes thru quite a few.

Being upset won't cause permanent damage to her little psyche.

And it didn't occur to you to be the parent and say, no, honey, the time for Santa music is past? Turn it off. So what if she has a fit; she'll get over it.
