Today, at my graduation for my high school GED, my parents said they were getting all my family and my girlfriend together. So we all went out to a steakhouse down the road, everyone ordered steaks. Turns out the 'surprise' was me paying. I only got 50$ grad money, and the bill was 159.98. FML

You people defending the GED are dumbasses, the GED does not replicate the high school experience of taking responsibilty and it doesn't touch on harder AP and Honors information

StoneCold, You're completely wrong there. I had a friend, who for her reasons, could not attend your "normal" high school (family death and med leave). Instead she worked with private tutors and got her GED. From there she went to a local college where she applied, and was accepted, to a top US to 50 University. So take your judgement and shove it. AND I don't think tihs is real... Why? Because a steak house, with everyone ordering steaks (and we'll assume its only 4 people) would come out to WWAYYY more than 160. Unless everyone only ordered the cheaper cut of steak and no sides or drinks. Which I doubt. OR you went to a really shitty cheap steakhouse. I tihnk there are just too many kids on here who are like...hmmmm what would be a good FML... OH i know!

His GED has nothing to do with this. His parents made him believe they were taking him out to celebrate his accomplishment (it doesn't matter how little anyone thinks of it, that was the reason behind dinner) and then they stuck him with the bill. Rude, rude, rude.

Wow thats mean U actually call them ur family?!
