Today, at school, I have to do a 45 minute presentation with a girl who has panic attacks so bad that she cries, runs out of the room, and sometimes passes out. This presentation terrifies her and it's a major part of my final grade. FML

I know FYL because its important, but I have something to say. Take it easy on her. I get panic attacks too. A lot. Sometimes because of stressful situations like those, sometimes because something feels wrong in my body, sometimes for no reason in hte middle of the night. It feels like you are going to die when it gets bad, that it won't stop til you're heart explodes, or you want to faint. Your body feels numb all over, you think you'll collapse. You just feel so anxious you want to get out of wherever you are- I have to walk of metros or out of classrooms. It's hell. Try to be there for her, to understand, maybe she'll be better. Please try to calm her.

Can you talk to the professor about this? Sometimes anxiety disorders fall under disability accommodations.

I feel really bad for you but its something she cant control. The professor should know about her issue cause its prob gonna affect your grade.

I had one group project where the group had five people but three of us did all the work. Afterward, we asked the professor if it was true that all five of us would get the same grade for the project. I still remember his very good answer: "Yes, everyone in the group will get the same grade for this project. However, final course grades will be determined individually." IOW he knew who'd done the work, and grades for the course (the only grade that really matters) would reflect that.

Don't complain until it happens. It might go fine.

Sorry for being a downer but panic attacks are the scariest things in the world. You have no idea where you are and all your thoughts are messed up and you are sure the worst things possible will happen to you. So please don't make fun of this and try to work through this with your partner

Stop being a bitch your poor partner is terrified and instead of making sure she's alright you too busy worried about a grade whereas her mental and emotional and maybe even physical health is at risk.

Tell her to take an anxiety pill .. She will go with a bang..

This is one of those FMLs where I really wish I would know what happened. I hope you get an A bro.
