Today, at work, a homeless woman called me trash, threw her coffee at me, and told me to get a job. I do have a job. It's homeless outreach. FML

You can't solve the homeless problem by "outreaching" and giving them food no matter what your church tells you. As much as you'd like to think you're making a difference, you're not--you're just helping them stay in their current states. Help them find work, and tell them to get off their asses and apply for a job. YDI

I find it hard to believe that you weren't taken to the hospital while you were unconscious here in the US. I don't have insurance and I've never once been denied medical care by a hospital, and when I was recently in an MVA, I got an ambulance ride- without insurance.
