Indeed, it's completely normal to get for your 21st birthday a doll. How dares OP to complain.
OP knows she wants it
How is that being spoiled you bitch?! How about if you get a barbie doll for your b-day and see how you like it.
Wtf spoiled? Hannah mantna is funny agreed but a doll? Idk about her parents well My step mother gave my brother rugrats the movie for his 18 bday. Also my mother gave me a crystal for my car for my 22nd. Gifts are supposed to be special to the bday boy or girl not the giver. How much thought is a doll and did her mother really think she'll like it? I think a shot glass would be soooo much better
I was expecting the fml to end in "*****" but when I saw doll, I was like; stfu OP. >.>
Yup, sounds pretty ungrateful to me too.
2, just give up
Break it open and see if there's money inside. No, but you should keep it, it's a gift from your mom and it's special to her. Keep it in a box in your closet, but when she comes over, put it up on your dresser.
#2 What, you wo uld have been happy with that? A doll as a 21st present? Doesn't need to be expensive, but it could at least be age appropriate.
Dyscalculia
eh not really a FML at least she cares enough to give u something ya know? pass it down the family generations :]
I thought it was a cute idea :(
Me too. She accessorized it personally its not like she just picked a random one in a box so she wanted it to be something special.
Awww It's hard for some parents to accept that their little kid has grown up :(

Don't be such a spoiled brat.
