Today, at work a woman came up to the check out counter and when I greeted her she said "oh honey, you are so beautiful!" I immediately smiled and thanked her, then she looked at me and said "oh, not you." and then pointed to her ear. She was on her bluetooth. FML

I HATE when people look they could be talking to you but are talking into their bluetooth devices. It embarrasses both the talker (unless they're a douche) and the person who things they're being talked to, and it's rude. Such a sign of the times x(...you could be standing in a huge crowd of people, but everyone's in their own little world.

Don't feel bad. She probably didn't mean you're ugly, but then again she's using a bluetooth in a grocery store. She's a douche.

damn bluetooths, always causing problems. honestly, when hasnt the bluetooth caused confusion/made the owner look like an egotist?

Freaky Friday remake, anyone?

waaahh, WAAAHHH! CRY SOME MORE! big ******* deal. did it ever occur to you people with your small brains that maybe the conversation was more important than the OP? And don't give me this crap about being a cashier, I've been one and still am. it happens all the time, and you know what I do? nothing, because it's not worth bitching about. so again, I repeat; waaaahhh, WAAAHHHH! CRY SOME MORE!!

That doesn't mean that you are ugly. That only means that she was talking to someone else.

bluetooth owners are going to be the end of our society.

lmao this one reminds me of #194587, except #194587 is worse...

that doesn't mean she thought you were ugly just that she wasn't talking to you. Although that is always embarrassing when you think someone is talking to you
