"Girls might not differentiate but women do". So what- if a female were to find this amusing or take it as a compliment then that makes that person a "girl"? If this upsets you that much, then go to a damn website where they take sexual harassment seriously.

Maybe he was making a comment on the cantaloupes. They are a kind of melon. And even if he was making a sexual innuendo, it was still in pun form, which makes it technically a joke.
