Today, at work, I stepped out for a few minutes to use the bathroom. Shortly after returning, I found out the hard way that one of my coworkers had used my computer to send a profanity-filled email to our boss, calling him an asshole and telling him to go fuck himself. I'm now jobless. FML

Something like that happened to my dad, except alcohol was involved. And I think he was the one who sent it. *shrugs* oh well. Hope you find another job soon OP!

Write an email to your dumbshit ex-boss explaining what happened. Don't ask for your job back. Admit that you screed up, but only by leaving your computer unlocked. When he offers you the job back, tell him to go **** himself because he is a stupid retard for firing you over an email that you didn't send in the first place...

Are there any security cameras around? If so, you'd at least be able to prove that you weren't at your desk when the email was sent. Sorry OP, some people can be real assholes.

I feel bad for you Op, but you should of locked your computer when going on a personal. Usually that is protocol in most offices.

First, if you can prove it... Get the proof and show the asshole.. I mean your ex boss.. And in the future... Lock your computer and keep a tight password on it. now get the cameras dumped so you can show that you didn't do it.
