This is why I always lock my computer at work before I leave my desk.

Well, that's why you should _always_ lock your computer when you leave your desk. Anyway, in some places they can fire you just for not doing so.
Always log out, or lock the computer..
Where I work, the first thing they tell you when they set your computer account up, You are responsible for all e-mails sent from your e-mail account. Should have locked the computer before you left. Sounds like your co-worker really had it in for you, that is not a harmless prank. I'm not one to advocate violence but messing with someone's livelyhood, that deserves an ass whoopping.
Lesson learned. ALWAYS lock your pc.
This is my I stress to my user community to lock their workstation when they get up.
