Today, due to the cold, windy weather, I decided to wear my brand-new cute (and expensive) jacket that has a faux-fur hood. As I walked down the street, numerous PETA members attacked me with red liquid. I'm a Vegan and an animal-rights activist. FML

360, be fair, animal rights activists come in more than one variety, at least one of which is only slightly crazy. A fair number of them actually hate PETA as much, if not more than, the average person.

Why are you buying expensive faux-fur jackets anyways? What does it do for you? It demonstrates your idiocy and the fact that you think fashion is important. PETA did a good thing dumping paint on you, even if it's not real fur it's still symbolizing the fact that you value fashion over your morals. PETA gets a bit extreme sometimes and doesn't do all of their research, but I have to agree with them on dumping paint on people who wear fur, in this day and age there is NO reason to wear fur.

Global warming = no fur, faux or not. But PETA encourages people to eat fake meat, Boca for example, fake milk, soy, and than bash people who wear faux fur. Irony at it's best.

I am a fan of PETA, if you mean People Eating Tasty Animals. Otherwise, I think they're retarded. Saying this, there's some advice for those against PETA and vegetarianism. For every one animal they do NOT eat, you eat three. That way, there's no incentive for them to be prickish. Meat may be murder, according to PETA, but it's delicious, delicious murder!

YDI.....now you know better than to be a vegan and an animal rights activist. Lesson learned. Now move on. PETA and its members are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Should have sued them or had them arrested for assault and gotten your jacket paid for.

I heard about PETA doing stuff like this...no matter what, they through red liquid on anyone who had fur on, many of them were fake furs >.< I mean, some people wear fur because it really keeps you warm, even fake fur, I mean, its really good! PETA is pretty extreme...in the bad way
