Hide a hard-boiled one in a vent and stay somewhere else.
Speaking of ex's... Don't worry OP, there are many people breaking up on Easter (don't want to know why) as you can see in the previous FMLs
Put them in a really big Easter egg and have an Easter egg hunt so he can find them.
What... Why? That's pointless. You're suggesting OP give the papers back? What will that change...?
Or maybe it's to show OP's spouse that OP knows about the papers? I think that's kind of immature though.
well now you have free chocolate, which you can eat when youre feeling sad about the divorce. c:
"This chocolate is soooooo good, but I can't eat it cause it makes me fat. [munch munch] but it's soooooo good!"
Maybe OP has children...?
You are never too old for egg hunting.
@54 you should be careful with those spelling mistakes you never know when a grammar nazi is watching.
Or maybe the OP is a kid, and he/she found their parents divorce papers, the FML makes no mention of the OP's age and we would really need a comment from the OP to clear things up.
Wow ppl hide the wrong things...should've just said it 2 yur face
True, but maybe OP's spouse wasn't ready to confront them about it yet. I'm not sure what their spouse could've been waiting for though; if they've gone that far to get divorce papers, they've obviously had plenty of time to think about it.
Maybe OP's spouse never intended for them to find it. It WAS a hunt, after all.
God damn*
Who does that??
Since the Easter Bunny is imaginary, maybe the divorce papers are too.
WHAT KIND OF SOCERY IS THIS???? The Easter bunny is real :*( I left him carrots on the table last night. :(
Actually, it's possible that the husband didn't include the divorce papers specifically in the hunt, and the OP accidently found them in his office. Either way it's an FML, but I wouldn't go around calling the husband an asshole without substantial evidence.

Oh wow. What a horrible way to find out! I'm sorry, that really sucks. :(
