Today, I checked my facebook, and my wife of 5 years was listed as single. I then write on her wall that it is ok to announce to be married. She writes back saying that we have to talk and to come to the kitchen. My wife divorced me over facebook. FML

Today, Facebook sent me a new friend suggestion. I opened it only to see that the person suggested was the home wrecker that broke up my marriage 4 years ago. Her cover picture is her and my ex together, along with a group of people that I used to be friends with. FML

why would you write this on fml? i would love for you to explain to me why your life sucks because facebook told you to reconnect with your husband. if it was your ex-husband, that i could understand. but your current husband? youre just stupid. YDI for thinking this was important enough to post on ANY site online.

Same shit happened to me and my ex-gf and a couple of her other good friends. The funny thing about it is that i wasn't FB friends with any of them at the time and still am not. FB can be a cruel system. When you think about it though, it's kind of funny in a sick twisted way.

that isn't true.. fb only suggests "reconnecting" with someone that you're currently friends with. it will make friend suggestions based on your friends and friends of your friends! why lie in a reply to a dumbass FML??
