Today, following a 6-hour roundtrip after having lost both games from a baseball doubleheader, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my 4-year-old son was still up. After updating him on the day's results, he went off to bed with the words, "Good night, loser." FML

Perhaps he did not have any ill intent but was merely being truthful. Or he was just being a little arse. Either way FYL.

Teach him that its okay to lose. Nothings wrong with losing once in a while:p

Can someone reword this for me? I probably sound stupid for asking but the way he set this FML up is confusing.

I'm not big on sports but I'll try to decide it. OP plays baseball, sounds like in a recreational league, drove three hours out of town to play in two games, back to back. OP's team lost both games, OP drove three more hours, apparently somewhat late at night, to get back home. OP's young son was still awake, and after conversation referred to OP as "loser" on the way to bed.

What a little ass. You need to put a stop to that. Young he might be, but if he thinks he can talk to his parents that way, he'll be worse wth strangers.

Just saying it's a good story when he gets married.

Remind him losing is better than quitting.

Well maybe he is teaching him to be frank upfront and honest. He is a man who lost twice thus making him a loser. My kid calls me a trucker it takes all kinds to go around.

If he meant "loser" as in "pathetic", what a little shit. If he meant "loser" in the sense that you had lost your baseball games, then... Perhaps it's a correctable word choice? I don't know, either way he needs a talking to!

I don't get why it's illegal to duct tape children to walls for being assholes.
