Today, I accidentally dropped my birth control pill on the floor and my dog ate it. The good news is, I startled her and she spit it right out. The bad news is, I still had to take it after it had been in my dog's mouth. FML

Today, my cat threw up on the floor while I was taking a nap. I woke up, still groggy from the nap, and walked over to the bathroom. Not only did I slip on the vomit, spreading it all over the floor and myself, I think I somehow broke a toe in the process. FML

If your birth control is with added extra estrogen, then take your cat to the vet. As for you, continue onto the next pill. It may be annoying, I've dropped many of times my pill down the drain

Next time, take your pill in the bathroom with the door closed. It's a good habit to learn for any pet owner or parent, especially if the need for more dangerous pills arises.
