Today, I accidentally dropped my birth control pill on the floor and my dog ate it. The good news is, I startled her and she spit it right out. The bad news is, I still had to take it after it had been in my dog's mouth. FML

Today, my dog ate my little brothers medication. I spent all morning trying to make him throw it up, but it wasn't working so I took him to the animal hospital, which was in a different city. $150 in poison control and vet bills later, I found the pill we thought he ate stuck under his paw. FML

Today, my daughter wanted to show me the tooth she had just lost. As I was in a rush to leave for work, I quickly picked up and swallowed my pill that was on the kitchen table. It was only until I looked back down at the table did I see not only my pill, but one extremely angry daughter glaring at me. FML

Today, I was walking dogs for the animal hospital I work for. I accidentally dropped the leash, and in my haste to retrieve it, I frantically grabbed the ground. I got the leash, and a handful of fresh dog poo emitted from the dog I was walking. FML

Today, I heard my dog chewing on something. I called her over, held out my hand, and told her to drop it. She dropped it into my hand, and I was proud of her. That was until I realized it was cat poop. FML

Today, I was walking my dogs when I noticed one of them had found something, and was eating it. After my command to "drop it" went unheeded, I took it upon myself to scoop it out of her mouth with my finger. After getting it all over my hand, I realized it was a piece of another dog's poop. FML

Maybe I missed something, but I don't see anyone saying that...everyone who said YDI said that because (1) she can skip a day (2) she can use the next days, or condoms, or something else...there are SEVERAL ways she could have avoided taking the one her dog had. One of the post I see (sarcastically) said **** , so one of us is mistaken.

I thought that was because the bacteria that exists in their mouths don't really affect humans. It's not that they're cleaner, they're just healthier compared to ours... if that makes any sense. Eh, I don't know wtf I'm talking about. xD BS FTW!

Ok. FIRST OFF: You could've just started your inactive week by bringing on your period that week by not taking a pill, because that is the same as an inert pill. SECONDLY: to all the YDI for saying she is a **** for being on birth control, there are other reasons to be on birth control besides to protect from sex. I am on it because I did not get my period for 9 months and was not sexually active. So I take it to make sure I get regular periods. Other people also take it because they have cramps beyond what a normal person gets. THIRDLY: Even some married people take birth control because it is not the right time for them to have children. FOURTHLY: I agree that she shouldn't have taken the pill that was in her dog's mouth.

Okay, first, use you're words, please. The number 2 is not a replacement for "to", and "bc" is not a replacement for "because". Second, you may not have realized this, but birth control has many more uses besides preventing pregnancy. Not only that, but she could have just taken the next days pill.
