Today, I am six months pregnant and have been lactating. When I noticed this and pointed it out to my husband, I jokingly stated that I felt like a cow. He then replied. "Oh, you're not a cow. At most you're just a fat pig." He still has no clue why I'm upset. FML

This has nothing to do with her size. She joked that she feels like a cow because she is producing milk. That's why she is insulted that he called her fat, even jokingly. He probably misinterpreted it as a fat joke and made his own, since a fat pig is still smaller than a cow, and that would explain why he doesn't get it. You should still never call a pregnant woman 'fat' though.
