Perhaps I'm quite blunt in nature, but every woman knows they're going to look fat when they're pregnant. I KNOW I'll look seriously huge when I'm pregnant, but I'm not going to get upset about it and will probably joke about my size myself. At the end of the day, it's only for a short duration and it's totally worth it. I think every woman should knock paranoia about her size whilst pregnant, as it's futile to do anything other. But, that's just my personal opinion.
