Today, it's New Year's Eve. I'd made plans to spend time with my fiancé's family the past week, then my fiancé and I were supposed to drive to my parents place today to celebrate NYE. Unfortunately, this week has been full of sickness. I spent all yesterday bedridden, and now my fiancé is too sick to get out of bed. FML

Today, my New Year’s Eve consisted of four things: being home alone, drinking cheap alcohol out of a tooth mug, getting an upset stomach from that, then going to bed early with ear plugs. FML

Today, I swapped a shift so I didn't have to work on new year's eve. An hour later I realized I didn't have anyone to spend it with. I swapped it back. I'll be ringing in the new year with my boss. FML

I put my boyfriend through a Hell like that.. Did things of that nature, and he still loves me. Fortunately *I* grew up, and appreciate and love him dearly. I don't think it's you that needs to 'grow up', but *her*. Good luck.

love is love, you cant just stop loving her because she cancelled plans. but maybe you can tell her how you feel when she does things like that, and perhaps do it back to her so she knows how it feels firsthand.
