Today, I arrived home to find my cat dead and note saying, "Sorry, I tripped over him." Not only is my cat dead, but I was robbed by a polite thief. FML

Today, despite me not liking cats, which my wife knew, she got a cat anyway. Her cat went for a walk outside and was hit by a car. I rushed outside to help the cat but found she was already dead, and the culprit had driven away. When my wife found out that her cat was dead, she thought I'd killed her. FML

I live in South Africa and my garage was broken into 3 times, (they stole from it twice but stole 2 bikes and a golf bag) my car broken into once, (they stole my radio and speakers) and they killed my dog when it tried to warn us they were there. 2nd highest crime rate in world and 1st rape baby!

Cat: today,I was napping and suddenly i hear a crash. Some robber broke in and stole some stuff! And it gets worse,on his way out he trips over me! I'm pretty sure he broke something vital because I'm dying. Now he sticks a note on me!! FML.

Even though it's double the pain that you both lose your pet and get robbed at the same time, I think it's rather cute that the thief apologizes for it in some way. I think he felt pretty bad when it happened.
