Today, I asked a coworker if she would cover for me on Easter because I want to spend it with my 3 year old daughter. She said no because she wants to spend Easter with her kids, too. She doesn't have kids. FML

Obviously she didn't want to cover for you. You probably aren't a very nice person so she doesn't feel the urge to help you out with something that you need.

boners you now have an obsessive stalker fan. congrats

******* bitch. but maybe she has family she is spending Easter with. so who knows. maybe, if your boss is nice, ask him/her to let you have the day off? if they say no bring in a hand drawn card from your kid asking if you could please have the day off - should work if your boss isn't a heartless bitch!

As a boss I'd say that is creating a hostile work environment and fire you - the day after you worked Easter.

Yes, because that's how businesses work. Everyone who brings in a child's drawing asking for the day off should immediately be granted their request, otherwise the boss is clearly a heartless bitch. Man and all this time I've been putting in for days off like everyone else! What was I thinking.

She might not have kids, but she probably does have family. Why should she waste her Easter working when she already has it off. I would have done the same thing.

assuming that someone doesn't need/want to have days off during holidays just because they don't have kids is kind of lame...

dont worry, she just wanted to make ot seem like she can actully get laid.

Clearly you live in an alternate universe where non-virgin females all pop out children nine months after losing their virginity. Here we use a think called contraception, since you're visiting our universe, I suggest you look into it with regards to your own future plans. Here having a child does not entitle you to a day off just because someone else has chosen not to become a parent.

well YDI. you should of requested it off a long time ago.

You should've requested the day off earlier. And just because (you assume) she doesn't have any kids, doesn't mean she doesn't have as much right as you to have the day off.

You are very welcome, Mr. Boners.
