Far better than being told that you're an ugly 3. I'd just accept hat he was generous & go with it instead of being butt hurt. (Unless you're one of those people who "think they're all that"...if that's the case, accept the compliment & get over yourself or stay butt hurt your entire life.)

I don't understand all these people saying that's a compliment. OP asked how he FELT about her, and he answered by commenting on her appearance - and by scale, no less. I think it's worrying that he bases his feelings about his girlfriend solely on her looks, as if that is the single most valuable quality about her.

@82, that is an excellent point! She didn't even refer to her appearance. Yet he chose that route. Seems like perhaps he lacks substance. Or has really low moral standards. Probably that he doesn't see past anything other than the outward cast; before you get to know someone on a more intimate level.
