Today, I asked my daughter what time it was. She stared at the clock for several seconds before muttering, "I don't know". She's 14 years old and on the honour roll, and yet she can't tell the time on an analogue clock. FML

I know college kids who can't read a regular clock. It scares me that these people are the future of this world.

idgi...what's so hard about it honestly? the small hand points to the hour and the large hand points to the minutes...takes like 10 seconds to learn I figured it out in kindergarten

She has a parent that cant even spell HONOR

Actually, honour is the way most of the rest of the english speaking world spells it. Honor is what the US changed it to. You should get your info straight before you start making fun of others. It makes you look like an idiot.

how about you learn it to her, instead of mocking you own child on FML.

well its your fault. just an idea but maybe you should have taught her?

that's not that bad. I'm 15 and can't. right when we were learning to tell time they put digital clocks in all the rooms and teachers rarely spent time teaching.

and whats stoping you from looking at the clock and figuring out the time for yourself!!

221, Does the term "Socratic Method" ring a bell?

I'm 27 and was never taught. everywhere we had digital clocks so no one bothered. it's like math now a days. kids don't really learn it, they learn to use a calculator

And so what ? I'm 21, best student in my university, hoping to get a Ph.D. later, got a job but I'm dyspraxic and can't read analogue. It's really no big deal.

dispraxia is a muscular and coordination problem, it has nothing to do with reading clocks

lol did you see the other one that said Dyscalculia is the opposite of Dyslexia? Also.. Dyspraxia is an immaturity in the way that the brain processes information. It causes problems with perception, language and thought, therefore it could cause problems reading a clock.

your a ******* horrible mother... im 22 and cant read an anolog clock... not because im stupid but because i had ******* dumb ass parent like you who wouldnt teach me... god should have never given you kids

If you still can't figure it out at age 22, it really is a little late in life to blame a parent...
