Today, I asked my daughter what time it was. She stared at the clock for several seconds before muttering, "I don't know". She's 14 years old and on the honour roll, and yet she can't tell the time on an analogue clock. FML

I know college kids who can't read a regular clock. It scares me that these people are the future of this world.

neither can i and i was on the honor roll... atleast i know how to spell honor:p

Honour is the original ENGLISH spelling, not the bastardized lazy American spelling. They are both technically correct. If anything honour is more correct.

and yet why tell realy time when you have a digital clock on cell phones.. and almost everyone has one

"People with dyscalculia, and this is most noticeable in children, have trouble reading an analog clock." FFT.

honour roll=hard worker, obedient. it is not indicative of intelligence. One can be intelligent and bored by the class, which would cause performance would suffer. One can be of average intelligence (or even a bit below the average IQ) and be on the honour roll on merit of hard/consistent work, and basic regurgitation. As for the analogue clocks, perhaps you should teach her how to tell time using them?

omg you guys are the retards, she sounds like she's got dyscalculia the opposite of dyslexia. I have a degree and I have this, reading clocks is hard, counting money and other things is difficult. come on if she is in honors how can she be stupid? start being a parent, get her tested, get her some support and you support her. stop writing on FML like her problem is funny.

The opposite of dyslexia would be not having a learning disability. Dyscalculia is pretty much dyslexia with numbers.

and yet you can't even spell "honor" correctly..

she must be Canadian or British bc they spell it that way as well so watch who u call dumb ass bc u could be the dumb ass who is ignorant to others cultures.
