Today, I asked my daughter what time it was. She stared at the clock for several seconds before muttering, "I don't know". She's 14 years old and on the honour roll, and yet she can't tell the time on an analogue clock. FML

I know college kids who can't read a regular clock. It scares me that these people are the future of this world.

My little sister can't read analogue clocks either and she's 16.

It's a common trait of Aspergers syndrome, a form of Autism. I can't read analogue clocks, it doesn't mean I'm not intelligent, I'm going to a Russell group university next year. A lot of people can't read that type of clock because they can't make a judgement on what the exact time is, it freaks them out that those clocks have little accuracy.

First of all, you spelled 'analog' wrong so if anyone it's an FML for your daughte, simply because you've obviously refused to take part in educating her for the likes of analog clocks. Teachers don't teach everything, maybe it isn't even part of the curriculum nowadays as most devices are digital.

First of all, you're wrong. OP is from Canada. So it's spelt right.

You're a retard. It's spelt analogue in Britain and Canada. And since English came before American, Analogue is more correct so to speak. Maybe YOU should be the one paying attention. If you can't even tell the difference between different countries spelling, then you should maybe you should take a part in education too.

#253 She spelled it correctly, do you have to be that cocky?

You also missed the 'r' at the end of 'daughter' so well done..

umm then you're failing as a parent teach her
