Today, I asked my daughter what time it was. She stared at the clock for several seconds before muttering, "I don't know". She's 14 years old and on the honour roll, and yet she can't tell the time on an analogue clock. FML

I know college kids who can't read a regular clock. It scares me that these people are the future of this world.

you seem to not notice she's from british columbia. In english, and not american, honour is spelled with an u like colour and not color. In Europe too we learn british instead of american

when I'm too lazy to sit and see what time it is I say idk. or I point to the clock and say "check yourself" so I would say as a teen myself that maybe she was just lazy.

yeah, I'm not too good at reading the time either. However, I am enjoying the retard Americans that don't realis(/z)e "honour" with a 'u' is the British way of spelling it.

I agree. It makes me ashamed to be American. Actually, a lot of stuff about America makes me ashamed to be American.

Agreed. I was thinking exactly the same.

that's how kids are these days. but then again it's kind of your fault for expecting the public school system to teach her something like that

Maybe she has dyslexia. Im 13, on the Honor Roll and get Presidential awards, but i cant really tell time that well because im dyslexic. SO STOP CALLING HER STUPID!!!!!
