in australia hardly anyones parents pays for uni, everyone gets loans then pays it back after they graduate when they start working

get a loan and prepare for debt like everyone else

Another advantage of having to pay your own way through school is you're far less likely to change your major five times and pick some useless crap like Philosophy that isn't going to translate into a real job when you graduate. Knowing you're staring down the barrel of $50K+ in debt is enough to motivate even the most slackass student in the world.

haha! the same thing happened to me today :( i don't have one either..

While I agree, fyl, who can afford college funds nowadays?

same here :( but then my aunt started 1, but it won't be much b/c it's only 2 years worth...

So when does it mean that parents have to pay for kids college education? You should have asked them that a while back, gotten your finances in order, to get it on YOUR OWN.

Since when are parents expected to save their entire lives to pay for their kids' college education?

Better get on with applying yourself for scholarships and/or loans instead of expecting mommy and daddy to pay for you to waste four years of tuition, spoiled little turd.
