Today, I bit into a cereal bar and thought the inside was oddly damp. I took a look at it and saw a maggot worm wriggling around. Its friend was in my mouth. FML

Today, instead of reaching for some unhealthy food, I tried to eat some dates instead. It was all fine until I bit one in half and saw a rather large, squirming maggot inside. FML

holy shit was it a special k bar? cause that exact same thing happened to me i wanted to throw up but i was in a car. i saw it and was like this is oddly soft....then turned to my best friend who was also eating one and said "stop eating that right now!" she instantly knew what i meant, we looked at each other and screamed.

Well at least there were only two maggots. I remember eating tamarind candy balls--worst mistake ever. If anything, it had about 9 small maggots. Never bought tamarind candy balls, or any "fresh and natural candy fruit" from that specific store ever again.

If there's so many people who realized there were meal worms in their food after almost finishing their meal, how are we to say we didn't already eat whole meals without realizing at all?!?! But then again, if you don't realize, it won't really affect you. Still, the thought is... creepy.
