Today, I bleached my hair. Not only did it fry, it also has a very noticeable green tint and because of the damage, I can't dye it again for a while. Now I keep getting asked "Why so serious?" by my friends. FML

Wear a purple suit, put on some white make up and have fun with it. Really, it's not that serious.

The added "LMFAO" eliminated any chance of you being funny.

Just wait 3 weeks, then you can dye it again. Not that long of a wait. And go to a salon this time.

try Keratin that same exact thing happened to me & literally 2days after frying my hair I got the keratin treatment & a new dye job & my hair looks like it was never damaged! IT REALLY WORKS

you can go get some temporary non bleach dye and add it over it to try to Ger back to something more normal. been in the situation before. but it has to be temporary dye. they sell some at Sally's beauty supplies or sometimes at walmart

oh my god your friends are awesome. that does suck though.

I love how many people think u deserve it, but most of those same assholes wouldn't say shit if it came out right.. I'm sure they got friends who dye their hair, whose hair they think looks great.. but when it doesn't work out, they just want to b dicks and put u down for being who u want to b.

I said FYL because I've bleached my hair more than once and it's still nice and soft. (: You're just unlucky, I guess.

putting color back into your hair will give it back at least some of the nutrients that you stripped out by bleaching it. I saw someone else mentioned it but be careful adding color back to your hair because yes after bleaching it is much more porous and will get much darker much faster. pick a color that's actually a bit lighter than what you're looking to end up with and you should do alright. and I don't know the base colors well enough to agree or not with what others said, but I do know you have to be careful picking one. a conditioning treatment would be a good idea, but you could live without it. at least make sure your using your regular conditioner properly. honestly your best bet is going to be to suck it up and pay someone to fix it, but it can still be fixed at home. btw, my claim to know anything on this issue? I've dyed my hair all varieties of natural colors, all colors of the rainbow, and then some, and have lived 22 years with a color specialist.

It's ok. My friend did the same thing but it had a purple tint. She got used to it and then redyed it, it looks fine now.

This is why you don't dye your own hair . Go to a salon with people that actually know what they're doing next time .
